We are now taking bookings for our fabulous summer term of dance and fitness activities Bucks classes all start back this coming Monday 14th April and

Berkshire classes the following Monday 20th April

Plenty for adults and children and dont forget our lovely Youth Moves Minis for the under 5's which start back on Monday

ASCOT & MAIDENHEAD SCHOOL SPORT PARTNERSHIP PRIMARY DANCE FESTIVAL AT THE MAGNET LEISURE CENTRE - WEDS 11TH AND THURS 12TH FEB  1.00 - 2.45pm MAGNET LEISURE CENTRE - if your child is taking part in this fantastic event with their school - did you know that this year there are more tickets available to parents, due to the children not sitting in seats this year!! we want to make sure that all parents, family & friends are aware of this.

To make it easier for parents to buy additional tickets they can do any of the following:

YOUTH MOVES - JOIN IN THE FUN

Youth Moves meet on Thursdays at Holy Trinity School in Marlow. - children from ANY school may attend

WHAT WE OFFER IS UNIQUE - We have been bringing the joy of dance and fitness to children for over 18 years in Marlow - classes are fully inclusive and so much fun with lots of variety.  We remain popular for good reason. Shy children learn to be confident and mix with others, more confident children develop their skills whilst learning how to participate in a team. Children who might find other settings tricky settle in with us in no time at all.

We include a variety of dance and fitness themes and ideas - hip hop and street, creative, choreography, apparatus and games. Suitable for children aged from 4 to 11 and equally popular with boys and girls.  All YOUTH MOVES  classes include our fabulous  brand STREET MOVES as part of each class.  With an annual performance at a local theatre (participation in performance optional)

Huge Huge thanks to everyone who supported us in our charity classes this evening - our total for the night was £140.06 - this when we send it to UNICEF will be matched by the government to make a total of £280.12 - and we have some more donations to come and a similar event next week at one of our clubs -

we loved meeting the new children and teenagers today - their energy and enthusiasm was awesome - xxxxxxxx

YOUTH MOVES & DANCE CREW CHARITY WEEK - NOVEMBER 27TH

THURSDAY 27TH NOVEMBER – Is our CHARITY WEEK – we will be  raising  money for the children in terrible circumstances in the war torn areas of Syria and those affected in Sierra Leone by the awful Ebola outbreak.  We are so lucky to have healthy happy children and I really cant begin to imagine what life must be like in those places presently, particularly as we all get ready for a lovely Christmas period.
So how can you help?  We are asking the children to bring lots of their friends along to class on Thursday of that that week – the money those friends donate to participate will go to the charity’s as well as any amounts of pocket money our children would like to offer.  We will donate the money to UNICEF where  the government match our donations pound for pound.
Any pupils who attend other classes can bring their donation to class that week and give them to their teacher, where classes have space in the halls  we will be inviting you to bring friends too - check your emails!!

YOUTH MOVES MINI'S - Join in the fun

Youth Moves Minis is a fun and creative movement and dance class for boys and girls.
Our aim is to develop physical and social skills,confidence and creativity, and basic dance skills. This can start with as little as learning to hold hands, engage with other class members and simple clapping, to eventually being able to create a story with movement, follow short dance routines and work as part of a group.
The lessons are planned with a theme and change every 3 weeks. This enables the child to become familiar and confident with the work and therefore fun for them so they can build upon their skills each week.
Mondays 10.30 - 11.15   from walking upwards with adult
Tuesdays 1.45 - 2.30 - ages 3 - 5 - solo    (mums can stay and watch if they like)

PROJECT DANCE 

TUESDAYS 6.15 – 7.15

Year 4 upwards – no upper age limit.    A fabulous ballet/contemporary technique & performance class -  followed by a performance to work on each term.

Suitable for keen dancers boys or girls as well as older dancers who need to improve their technique for GSCE or A -Level in an inspiring, fun and imaginative way.

A brand new class suitable for complete beginners, those who feel they are out of shape or just want something a little less hectic than the current High Intensity classes on offer at the moment, absolutely any age, gender or size welcome

We are always interested to hear from qualified dance or fitness teachers or student dance/fitness teachers wishing to gain work experience and qualifications under our guidance.

We are always interested in hearing from teachers keen to become  involved in our High Quality ‘Schools Provision’ in both Recreational Dance, Dance Education and Fitness.  We will next be recruiting for September 2014.

We are also currently  seeking to expand our Adult Fitness and Dance provision and welcome applications from innovative and inspiring presenters and instructors.

Applications welcome from any discipline.  Full Training provided.
